10/10/06 - ! ANDY OUT !
Pop Two were today struck with the news that left winger Andrew Warner....due
to make a return n the 21st October will be ruled out of the team. Warner has courses he can't afford to miss on the date
of the massive match, and focus needs to be directly turned into how Pop Two are now going to play, and many of the members
of the team have admitted its a tough one to tackle.
29/9/06 - "HE'LL BE FINE" SAYS TEAMMATE ZAK
After hearing news that brendan, centre midfielder of the pop two team was injured in a training
ground incodent earlier this week, his team-mate Zak Tolley has come to his defence, and backed him to make a morale-lifting
comeback in time for the big match on the 21st of October. Zak said "Bren's always been positive, he wouldn't miss this match
for the world, its his number one priority, and i have no doubt what so ever that he will be as fit as a butchers dog when
in weeks time".
29/09/06 - HAS LILT BEEN AXED!?
Rumours have been sparked alight nationwide today regarding the pop 2 future of midfielder Adam
Littleton. Many believe Pop 2 members feel he is a pre-madonna, and a liability to the team. We expect more news on the story
sometime next week.
28/9/06 - NEXT POP 1- POP 2 MATCH ANNOUNCED!
what you've all been waiting for... the dates for the next match, there first match since may
this year, and the long awaited match will be played on the 21st October, saturday, times are yet to be confirmed. It will
be played at Elwells, come on you Two's
29/09/06 - GRIFFITHS HANDS OUT WARNING
In the 3 week build-up to the game, all-time Legend Ben Griffiths has told pop 1 opposition NOT
to expect the same poor performance many say he put it out in May. Griffiths said: "I had my critics after that match, and
i can see why, but i can strongly promise an improvement, and im sure other members of the team can too"
29/09/06 - THE SEARCH FOR A REF HAS STARTED
After the controversial battle in May, the search for a new referee has began, and already it
looks like we may already have our man...His name is Nathan Lowe, a neutral (as he was from wodensborough), and has knowledge
of the game. More is to be announced in the next few days
